Underground Storage tanks can pose significant environmental liability. When removed from the ground, the tanks must be cleaned to remove the remaining fuel and vapors.
The Fort Campbell tanks are 30,000 gallon heating oil tanks. Confined space entry procedures were utilized for safe decommission of these tanks.
